Common Black-headed Gull (Larus ridibundus)

Note the orange-flesh colour of the bill with the dark tip; the dark spot behind the ear (and eye when flying); the snow white underside; trailing dark edge to back of wing this in contrast to the white primaries. Image shows a bird from October, which might be a bit too early a month for a Tanzania record, however some individuals retain their first plumage for a considerable time wherefore this photo might be helpful.
