Red-collared Widowbird (Euplectes ardens)

Udzungwa Mts, July 2007. Copyright@; Louis A. Hansen. Captured in thick vegetation just 20m from evergreen forest at ca. 1470m in an undulating hilly land. Measurements bird: Weight 13.0g, wing 61mm, tail 41mm. Many thanks goes to Adrian Craig for getting this ID correct.
