Green-throated Greenbul (Andropadus chlorigula)

Immature, sex alike. Subspecies - none. Udzungwa Mts, July 2007. Copyright@; Louis A. Hansen. Adults have darker crown and complete eye ring. This individual is close to having acquired an adult plumage - it has the "broad" white eye "ring" and do not show soft yellow gape, but the crown is still immature in not being dark over a larger area. Such an individual I would prefer to call "full grown."
