Olive Thrush (Turdus olivaceus)
An immature bird. Subspecies: cannot be assigned with 100 % confidence with of any published subspecies – most close to roehli and abyssinica. Surely not the best (dark forest with flash) but does show eye ring, and spotted wing. Also to be noted is the almost uniform white undervent - see other photo too - but this is only seen among the young and immature - later it becomes black streaked. Udzungwa Mts, 1991-92.
