Olive Thrush (Turdus olivaceus)
An immature bird. Subspecies: cannot be assigned with 100 % confidence with any published subspecies – most close to roehli and abyssinica. Surely not the best (dark forest with flash) but does show eye ring, and spotted wing and spotted breast - the latter a feature very typical among all young thrushes in the world. Also note, the raised "eyebrow" this is often seen among the "big/true" thrushes and the "small like/robins and the like" thushes. Udzungwa Mts, 1991-92. Copyright ©; Louis A. Hansen.
