Olive Thrush (Turdus olivaceus)
An immature bird. Subspecies: cannot be assigned with 100 % confidence with any published subspecies – most close to roehli and abyssinica. Surely not the best (dark forest with flash) but does show eye ring, and spotted wing. Note also the spotted breast - a feature very typical among all young thrushes in the world. Also note, the white central part of the throat - later this becomes streaky too. Udzungwa Mts, 1991-92. Copyright ©; Louis A. Hansen.
