Olive Thrush (Turdus olivaceus)
An adult bird. Subspecies: cannot be assigned with 100 % confidence with any published subspecies – most close to roehli and abyssinica. Here the bill colour is fully developed as well as the eye ring. Note the difference of the throat pattern and colour from the immature bird. And the breast on the adult has turned towards a "medium brown" colour - very different from the young bird’s orange like colour. Udzungwa Mts, 1991-92. Copyright ©; Louis A. Hansen.
