Swynnerton’s Robin (Swynnertonia swynnertoni)

Sex; Male. Age; adult. Subspecies; crown fits nominate however rest fits the subspecies rodgersi. Udzungwa Mts., June 2007. Copyright@; Louis A. Hansen. Females are, as I remember it, greyer on the face (see also literature for details). The much spoken of white throat patch is very difficult to see sometimes also hidden while handling the bird.
