-
White-starred Forest Robin (Pogonocichla stellata)
- Presented: some whistling notes which sounds anxious and probably is just a call and some "prrrt, prrrrt" notes which probably are warning calls.
-
Olive Thrush (Turdus olivaceus)
- Description: call note, what I call type 2, a fast call. Recording from the Udzungwa Mts. 1991-92. Copyrights @: Louis A. Hansen and the late Jens Otto Svendsen.
-
Olive Thrush (Turdus olivaceus)
- Description: call note, what I call type 1, the weak "cip" type. Could remind you of a wheel on an old wheel barrow, or the pedal on a bicycle that needs to be oiled. Recording from the Udzungwa Mts. 1991-92. Copyrights @: Louis A. Hansen and the late Jens Otto Svendsen.
-
Orange Ground-thrush (Zoothera gurneyi)
- Description: full bodied song. Very typical. Possible and only possible there are two birds heard - one begins to sing and the after a few notes a another is answering with high pitched "squeak" like notes. Louis A. Hansen and the late Jens Otto Svendsen.
-
Orange Ground-thrush (Zoothera gurneyi)
- Description: song. What I call type 2, however this might just be one example of imitation of another species of birds song (speculating of it is dabble-breast it tries to imitate). Louis A. Hansen and the late Jens Otto Svendsen.
