Egyptian vultures near Golini - Serengeti / NCAA border

Sighting of Egyptian vultures on Serengeti NCAA boundary 2nd March 2011

While on a drive from Lemuta to Ndutu on 2nd March we saw 1 adult and 2 immature Egyptian vultures at a small waterhole about 2 kms north of the Serengeti / NCAA sign and border on the main Naabi Road. That is at square 3502C on the atlas. We so rarely see these guys these days, so I thought I should send this in. I am afraid that the track and drive was extremely dusty so I didnt take my camera out of its bag for a photo.

Salaams Justin
