- BirdInfo, News and Articles on African Birds by Stein Nilsen — last modified 2008-01-23 23:59
- Small beginnings to a new site for birders on the web. After years of procrastination, we (Guy Upfold and Hugh Chittenden) finally got together to kick off this site using a few of the many photos we have taken over the past year or two. We began thinking about putting a website together about a year and a half ago when we were busy working on the new Roberts Bird Guide but just didn't have the time. Now that this new Roberts 'Field Guide" is in the final stages of publication, we have more time to look at the fun side of birding and spend more time in the field (with cameras in the hand of course!). Watch this space for further details on the new Roberts Bird Guide. So here we are with BirdInfo. An exciting project for both of us.
