As you can see this map is gradually taking shape with data now entered from DRC, tks Michel and that old record from Zimbabwe, tks Tim.

Would be good to be more precise on the additional Madagascar sites, Rivo, Julien, your input here please.

When this map is finished I'll send it out as a pdf, a jpeg and an ARC GIS file for folk to play with.

It will also be possible to prepare single country maps for those that want them to print at A4, please ask. We have SRTM data for all countries.

With the 1st mainland sighting of the season now confirmed on the Kenyan coast this is an appropriate time to review the status of this species and to encourage everyone to be on the alert for it.
