654 Pied Crow
- Hi all Our >600 birds in Iringa began pairing up a few weeks ago. I saw the first bird carrying nest material (a stick) on the 7th Aug and this fits in rather well with what we already know of breeding seasons in the East. The only April egg month on the attached map is from a 1956 nest record card. Really curious this, I've just double checked the NRC and it clearly states egg on 28th April 1956. Most odd. As ever, many more breeding season records wanted to firm up "the season". This would be a good subject species to monitor any changes in breeding season due, for instance, to climate change. ALL records PLEASE and day date them. Neil
